10 algebra + 10 reading
Timed at the real test’s pace: about 1.4 minutes a question, so roughly 28 minutes for all 20. Every answer is explained at the end. These are original practice questions in the same format, not questions from the actual test.
How this practice test works
Each attempt draws 10 algebra questions and two reading passages (five questions each) from a pool of 66 original questions. Take it again and you’ll get questions you haven’t seen first. The timer runs at the real test’s pace: the electrical training ALLIANCE gives 46 minutes for 33 algebra questions and 51 minutes for 36 reading questions, so about 84 seconds a question.
What the result tells you
Your score by section, your pace against the real test’s, and the topics you missed. It doesn’t give a stanine. The programs that publish a cutoff set it at 3 (NEAT scores 0 to 9), and 20 questions can’t be converted to that scale honestly.
How to use your review
- Rework every miss without looking at the explanation first, then check it.
- If you were right but slow, that topic may still need work.
- On reading, find the sentence that proves the answer. If you can’t point to one, you guessed.
